Earthscape for Brass Quintet and Organ (David Marlatt)

This work features the quintet in a peaceful mood and offers the opportunity for some soloistic playing by the trumpet players. The 2nd trumpet part is best played on flugelhorn allowing for a blending of the four lower voices contrasted by the single bright trumpet sound. The organ adds a warm and then powerful sound to support the quintet. Includes a score with organ and parts for 2 Bb trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba.
