The Age of the Dinosaur Brass Quintet (David Marlatt)

Grade 2-2.5

The savage T-Rex, the lumbering huge four-legged sauropods and the gliding flying pteraosaurs are the characters in this fun piece for developing brass quintet. The sauropods open this piece and, at over 100 feet long and 100 tons, they are heavy and plodding. The pterosaur (which means winged lizard) floats effortlessly through the air getting a great view of the carnivores as they stalk their prey with their powerful and sudden attacks.  A score and parts for 2 Bb trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba are included.

Sample pages of the score can be viewed above.
