MEDIUM DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Good King Wenceslas has been arranged using the rockabilly style from the 1950s. The bass part utilizes a standard boogie bass line, while the middle accompanying parts emulate a standard guitar pattern often used in this style. While all these parts are to be played with high energy, be sure that they never overpower the melody. Blues changes are used in the solo section that can be either improvised, or follow the written solos. Also, take note of the key change following the solos to help build up the energy of the piece as it approaches
the end. Optional Drum Set part is included. Includes a score and parts for 2 Bb trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba.
