Concert Band arrangements
One of our business partners is Hal Leonard, the largest print music publisher in the world. Over 20 years ago, they started adapting our most well known brass quintet arrangements to Concert Band. Currently there are 35 titles in the Canadian Brass Concert Band Series ranging including Young Band, FlexBand and Grade Level 5 band arrangements. We actually made a recording several years back, Concert Band Essentials, which contains performances of 21 of these arrangements performed by a Toronto "All Star" Band.
We have also created 16 of our own Flex Band editions based on our Walter Barnes Quintet series. These are at an EASY grade level and are PDF downloadable charts. Each arrangement has 5 sounding parts and can be played a wide variety of wind and string instruments and still sound great!
Frequently Canadian Brass is booked to perform as a brass quintet with concert band or orchestra. Over the years, the group has created a few titles for purchase and or rental use with these concerts in mind. School and community concert bands have a rich and illustrious history in North America and we are happy to play a small role in that history.
