Having played the Morton Gould "American Salute" a number of times it is good to hear that the Canadian Brass didn't just imitate that work in this number. This arrangement pays homage to its Irish derivation but provides a nice array of perspectives on the tune. As virtuosic as ever, the Canadian Brass play wonderfully, and expressively.
