The Twelve Tunes of Christmas takes familiar Christmas melodies and throws them together in a way that will have your audience in stitches. Musical jokes, unpredictable twists, and possible ensemble hijinks pepper the piece. This is an excellent concert piece. 

This piece is based around a "stealing of control" for the members of the ensemble. The melody appears in every part several times: be sure to assert yourself when you have the tune! This piece can also benefit from some stage antics as well. 

The Twelve Tunes of Christmas incorporates twelve different melodies. Each of these melodies should have its own distinct "character" and "flavor". Experiment with this to find out what works for your group!
