GRADE 4
Klaviersonate d-moll (Toccata) K. 141 - L. 422
by Domenico Scarlatti / arr. Brandon Ridenour
Originally for keyboard instruments in the baroque era, Brandon has adapted one of Scarlatti's most devilishly challenging works for brass. The fast repeated notes lend themselves naturally to a brass players' quest to perfect the technique of an elegant double and triple tongue. This is an arrangement for advanced players with considerable virtuosity in the trumpet parts.
