Christopher Dedrick Arrangements

Christopher Dedrick

Chris Dedrick was destined to have a big music career from early childhood.  His father, Art Dedrick, virtually created the school stage band movement in the 1950’s.  Chris learn composition at his father’s knee — Chris played trumpet and piano as well as helping his dad arrange music for his publishing company, Kendor Music.  Later Chris wrote the music for, and performed with his brother and sisters in the group Free Design, a Billboard charting pop group.  We met Chris after he moved to Canada where he gained the recognition and respect of his peer group becoming the President of the Film Writer Guild of Canada.  We could always call on Chris for the innovative approach to Beatles, Bernstein, Christmas repertoire and of course, Glenn Miller.
