Brass Quintet Music
Canadian Brass has spent the last 50 years arranging, publishing and performing brass quintet music. We have over 700 titles for brass quintet in the store, (adding more every month), and have been expanding our offering of PDF downloads as demand for quick delivery has increased. In addition to our own publications, we carry brass quintet arrangements from Hal Leonard Corp., Cimarron Press Music and Eighth Note Publications to name a few.
We have brass quintet sheet music in a wide variety of music genres and continue to add to the list. You will find brass quintet music from the renaissance including that of Monteverdi, Boyce, Palestrina, Gibbons, Holborne, Byrd, Gesualdo, Di Lasso, Gabrieli and more. Brass quintet music arrangements from the baroque represent a core section of our quintets and include such monumental composers as Bach, Handel, Pachelbel, Scheidt, Purcell, Clarke, Vivaldi and more. From the romantic period of music you will find brass quintet music from Beethoven, Haydn, Bizet, Rimsky-Korsakov, Mussorgsky, Dvorak, Rossini, Wagner and others listed in the Canadian Brass Store. We also have brass quintets from the impressionist period and many other more contemporary styles of music including jazz, blues, ragtime and dixieland. We even have movie and Broadway brass quintet arrangements and a few from the worlds of pop & rock.
While the majority of the arrangements are for 2 Bb trumpets, horn, trombone and tuba there are some arrangements that have been written for piccolo or trumpets in different keys and those titles are noted as such in the detail section of the product page. We have also tried to offer audio or video samples of performances of the brass quintets where possible although not all have been recorded. You will find some electronically created samples on most titles where we can't offer actual recordings. These do not sound great but should at least provide an idea of how the arrangement may sound. We also will a page or two of the score as samples for you to view on most titles. Don't hesitate to contact the store to ask questions or get more sample pages if you need the information.
