The First Nowell arranged for brass quintet and organ was first recorded on the RCA release, Christmas with The Canadian Brass and years later on the Opening Day release of Canadian Brass; Christmas Tradition. The music includes a score that has the organ part along with individual parts for 2 Bb trumpets (+ piccolo), horn, trombone and tuba.
