Chung-oo: Invitation to Romance (Cello)

The Cello is often mentioned as the instrument most closely resembling the human voice. In the hands of an artist, it can reveal and touch the deepest recesses of the heart, as this collection shows. Chang Woo Lee, better known as Chung-oo for pronounciation and in association with her album, "Invitation to Romance, has long been drawn to the power of great American songs, which she feels have been under appreciated. The songs unite a classical European spirit with a New World energy and imagination. Chung-oo is the Associate Principal Cellist of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.
