TRUMPET:
The trumpet mouthpieces have been inspired by some classic Mt. Vernon designs while providing trumpeters Chris Coletti and Caleb Hudson rim and cup enhancements for incredible comfort, and flexibility. The Canadian Brass Collection T1, T2, and T3 mouthpieces provide a more advanced trumpeter the opportunity to command a beautiful full lush sound, with superb responsiveness.

Canadian Brass Trumpet mouthpiece
I purchased the 3 size trumpet mouthpiece in silver plate. Very warm and round sound with fantastic response, evenness across the whole spectrum of the horn. The rim is pretty sharp, but not uncomfortable, but took some time to get used to. Well worth the price and addition to the quiver.

The t3 is a very freeblowing mouthpiece. However, the rim contour is way too sharp for my liking.

Canadian Brass Trumpet Mouthpiece Collection
I purchased all three. They're Chinese made to custom CB specifications. One of the three came with a flaw in the finish on the rim, so CB Store promptly replaced it. Great customer service and fast shipping from these guys! The mouthpieces outwardly resemble old Conn mouthpieces. The T-1 is my favorite player of the bunch. It is in the Bach 5c-7C size range but for me, sounds & plays better than either. It has a comfortable, medium width rim, #26 throat, "C" cup, lovely tone, clarity in all registers, easy high register and clean attacks. The T-2 is 1-1/2C size but with a narrower, rounded rim contour than I prefer (much more rounded than my trusty late '60's Bach). The tone is warm but not particularly focused and attacks are softer and not as clean as with the T-1 or T-3. The T-2 has a #25 throat and blows freely. I had hoped it might be good with my C trumpet but it wasn't to my liking. The T-3 cup is similar in size to a Bach 2-1/2C but the rim is considerably narrower. It has a #26 throat and gets a really lovely, clear tone in all registers. It also worked well with both my Bb, C & D trumpets (as did the T-1) and the attacks were clean like the T-1. The T-3 high register came pretty easily and was great sounding, but unfortunately the rim was not comfortable. It has a relatively sharp inner contour that sat right on a protruding tooth. In summary, I think these are all good playing & pleasantly affordable mouthpieces. For me, the T-1 was the star and a very worthwhile addition to my tool box. My advice is to take a look at all three.

Canadian Brass T3 Trumpet Mouthpiece
